The Killin Mountain Rescue Team, registered charity number SC044098, reported two significant call-outs during the past weekend.
The first incident occurred on Saturday 14th January at Meall Garbh, part of the Tarmachan hill range near Killin.
A winter walker, while traversing the lower slopes of Meall Garbh, sustained a lower leg injury.
The injured party’s companions promptly contacted emergency services by dialling 999, requesting mountain rescue assistance.
The team’s swift response highlights the critical role of mountain rescue services in ensuring the safety of hillwalkers and climbers in remote areas.
