The Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team was also dispatched to assist. The teen was stabilised by paramedics before being carried on a rescue stretcher for about 250 meters to an ambulance, which took him to the hospital.
A spokesperson for the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team stated, “The casualty was treated by paramedics, and, once stabilised, the volunteer rescuers carried him on a rescue stretcher for approximately 250-metres to a waiting ambulance for onward treatment at the hospital.”
