Teen transported to hospital following biking incident in Errington Woods

“A teenage biker was hospitalized with a leg injury following an accident in Errington Woods,” according to reports. The incident occurred on Friday evening, and paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 5.30 pm

The Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team was also dispatched to assist. The teen was stabilised by paramedics before being carried on a rescue stretcher for about 250 meters to an ambulance, which took him to the hospital.

A spokesperson for the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team stated, “The casualty was treated by paramedics, and, once stabilised, the volunteer rescuers carried him on a rescue stretcher for approximately 250-metres to a waiting ambulance for onward treatment at the hospital.”
